The fountains mingle with the river

How does one describe a beautiful song, a sweet dream once seen, or a precious union of two hearts that are my greatest of friends, Michelle and Daniel? I shed tears at the ceremony, as I stood among bridesmaids overfilled with happiness and joy as the bride and groom shared their vows before God, minister, family and friends that gathered to share this joy at Salish Lodge, on October 3rd, 2009.
Oh, what a lovely wedding that was! The crisp autumn day, filled with sunlight and smells of leaves and water; the roar of the fall created a majestic background for an event of the season. The place was decorated in brown and orange with flowers and candles floating in pretty ceramic dishes placed on each table. The altar itself was adorned with fresh flower blooms.
Bridesmaids were wearing chocolate-brown dresses of their choice and carried adorable little clutches that Michelle handmade. And oh! the dress of the bride, drape-y and detailed with lacing on the back, veil held in place by sparkly tiara and embellished with pearly drops.
I loved the cake tower made of delicious cupcakes with little wooden figurines (cat included) on top. And the live music that played through the ceremony and part of a reception. And little parting gifts with homemade cookies.
Many happy years to you my friends! Let love and understanding never leave your side.

3 Октября мы были дружками на свадьбе наших друзей, Мишель и Дэна. Свадьба была невероятно красивая, они сняли помещение в гостинице которая располагается над водопадом Сноколми в часе езды от Сиетла. Все девушки-дружки были одеты в шоколадного цвета платья которые они сами выбирали (моё платье от Кальвин Кляйн) и в руках у каждой было по кошелёчку с цветочком, которые Мишель сама же и пошила.
Вообще все декорации были в коричнево-жёлто-оранжевых тонах, что очень подходило к этому солнечному осеннему дню. Свечи и цветы плавали в керамических тарелках на каждом столике. Алтарь был украшен живыми вьющимися цветами. Невеста была одета в элегантное платье, спускающееся волнами и фата, укреплённая обручем-короной. Жених и его свита были во фраках с белыми галстуками. Играл квартет.
После торжественной церемонии был буфет и десерт. И на дорогу каждому гостю досталось по коробочке с домашним печеньем.
