On March 9th we went to the concert of an emerging band Ting Tings that came all the way from England to Seattle for the gig. It was great but short. They have only a handful of songs so far. And unfortunately the sound was a little loud for the tiny auditorium, so Katie’s voice was almost overpowered by instruments. Anyway–she has the crazy energy-just look at her bashing at the drum!:) They both are quite amazing.

She disappeared into the “staff room” right after the last song. People started to get out but I decided to hang around for some more and see if Tings will sign a poster that I just took off the wall. And I got it! Katie shared while signing my poster that she didn’t even expect people to show up (due to a poorly advertised event:() But we did.

Their very first CD is coming out in July.

Мы ходили на концерт начинающей группы из Англии Тинг Тингс. Они приезжали в Сиетл 9 марта. Отличная группа, концерт был правда коротким, так как у них ещё нет много песен. После концерта я стянула постер со стены и попросила их подписать. Теперь будем ждать выхода их первого альбома в июле! А пока у них страничка в инете и там можно послушать их песни
